The second novel by O Chanthu Menon which was published in 1892. Due to his death in 1899, Chanthu Menon was not able to complete the second part of Sarada.

ഇന്ദുലേഖയ്ക്കു ശേഷം ചന്തുമേനോന് എഴുതിയ നോവലാണ് ശാരദ. ഈ നോവല് മൂന്നു ഭാഗങ്ങളായി പ്രസിദ്ധപ്പെടുത്താനാണ് ചന്തുമേനോന് നിശ്ചയിച്ചത്. എന്നാല് രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം പൂര്ത്തിയാകും മുമ്പ് അദ്ദേഹം മരിച്ചു. ഈ നോവല് പത്തൊമ്പതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ അവസാനഘട്ടത്തിലെ പ്രമാണിവര്ഗത്തിന്റെ കഥയാണ്.
